STOPGAP 400 is a fast setting, rapid drying repair compound for repairing internal floors prior to the application of STOPGAP smoothing compounds in light to heavy duty applications. It is also suitable for use on internal stairs, steps and general repairs to cracks and holes. Its flexibility allows flooring contractors to use it to repair internal ramps and covings.
STOPGAP 400’s fast-track performance properties are essential for when time matters, allowing users to complete flooring projects with minimal downtime.
Being a slump-free compound, STOPGAP 400 maintains dimensional stability and ensures long-lasting performance. It comes as a pre-blended dry powder to be mixed with water, designed for applications ranging from 2 to 50mm.
Users can trowel it to form a feathered edge for a precise finish. Its rapid drying properties provides a significantly quick walk-on-hard time of 20 minutes and enable the application of floor smoothing compounds from 90 minutes at 2mm. STOPGAP 400 is suitable for use over a wide range of subfloor types including sand/cement screed, concrete, sound asphalt, granolithic, terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane resins, ceramic and quarry tiles and STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes.
