Cruise Ships Interiors Expo America

F. Ball will exhibit its marine-certified range of flooring adhesives and subfloor preparation products at the Cruise Ships Interiors Expo America, in Miami.

Marine Equipment Directive (MED) certified and tested in accordance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards, products in F. Ball’s marine range are suitable for use across a wide range of marine applications and are used to install floorcoverings in some of the most prestigious cruise ships in the world.

These include products for ensuring a long-lasting flooring finish when subject to the kinds of environments found on board cruise ships, such as its Styccobond F73 PLUS one-part adhesive for internal and external heavy-duty applications. This can be used to install a wide range of textile and resilient floorcoverings, including rubber, vinyl, linoleum, and synthetic grass – in indoor and outdoor areas with high levels of foot traffic and surface water onboard passenger ships.

Also in the F. Ball marine range are smoothing compounds with a range of specialist features for creating a perfectly smooth surface for floorcoverings.

Commenting on the company’s presence at CSIE America, F. Ball head of sales for EMEAA, Jack Sant, said: “Building on the success of past Cruise Ship Interiors Expos, we are excited to return to Miami this year. As we increasingly connect with flooring professionals globally, we are introducing more products to our marine range, ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of flooring installations on board the world’s most luxurious vessels. We look forward to welcoming you to our booth.”

The Cruise Ships Interiors Expo America will take place from 9 – 10 June at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Florida. F. Ball will be located at Booth 1228.
