F. Ball helps RNLI save lives
F. Ball has joined a flooring contractor’s campaign to provide an Automated Electronic Defibrillator (AED) for the RNLI lifeboat station in Happisburgh, Norfolk.
After becoming a volunteer for the RNLI at Happisburgh, MG Flooring Ltd. managing director Matt Goodchild spoke to one of the station’s deputy launching authorities, Robert Mann, who mentioned that he’d been trying to raise funds to purchase a defibrillator for the station for the benefit of the local community.
Matt, who has been using F. Ball products for over 20 years, promptly enlisted the support of F. Ball and flooring wholesaler Planners Services Ltd. Together they donated £2,000 for the defibrillator, accessories and outdoor cabinet for the station.
Commenting on the achievement, Matt said: “No problem is too big if you break it down into smaller challenges. I’d like to thank F. Ball and Planners for their generous donations. Along with CPR, access to an AED dramatically increases a person’s chance of surviving a cardiac arrest outside of hospital, so there’s a very real chance that this will save someone’s life in the future.”
