F. Ball scoops four awards at the CFJ Flooring Industry Awards 2024
The company’s success came in four categories of the installation awards for projects using its products: Flooring in Education (schools), Flooring in Sports and Leisure, Flooring in Hotels and Flooring in Offices (new spaces) category.
Together with Westcotes Flooring Company, Heckmondwike FB Limited, Tarkett and others, F. Ball won in the Flooring in Education (schools) category for the installation of floorcoverings at The Saint John Henry Newman Catholic School, Stevenage.
The installation of LVTs by Veatu Flooring at Champneys Springs hotel and spa in Leicestershire with F. Ball subfloor preparation products and adhesives, including Stopgap 1200 and Styccobond F46, won in Flooring in Sports and Leisure.
The use of F. Ball products to install floorcoverings over more than 12,000m2 at the new five-star W Edinburgh hotel, in Edinburgh city centre, was victorious in the Flooring in Hotels category.
F. Ball products were also used in the creation of new offices at Shinfield television studios, which won in the Flooring in Offices (new spaces) category.
The company was shortlisted 15 other times in installation categories, as well as for Manufacturer of the Year, Best Use of Digital Media and Commitment to Social Responsibility awards.
Run by the flooring industry’s premier magazine, the Contract Flooring Journal (CFJ), the awards celebrate the industry’s best products and installation successes, as well as special achievements.
This year’s awards were held at the Dallas Burston Polo Club, in Warwickshire, and hosted by renowned stand-up comedian, Hal Cruttenden.
