New technical representative
Kyle Malcolm has been appointed technical representative for the East of England.
As one of F. Ball’s regional technical representatives, he will provide expert technical advice, training and on-site assistance to flooring contractors, distributors and retailers across the region on best practice in subfloor preparation and floorcovering installation and how to get the most out of F. Ball products. This will include conducting site visits and producing case-specific reports advising on the best course of action for particular flooring projects.
Kyle has 22 years’ experience in the flooring industry, including 15 years as a sales manager and flooring estimator, in which time he helped plan and create specifications for flooring projects. He was also an area sales manager for a national flooring distribution company for seven years.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “The chance to join a market leader in the flooring industry doesn’t come along every day, and I spoke to a now colleague who recommended working for the company, so I jumped at the opportunity. I’m looking forward to using my skills and knowledge to support flooring contractors, as well as pushing myself and drawing on the wealth of knowledge at F. Ball to advise on flooring installations in countless different circumstances and environments.”
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys watching football and playing golf, as well as going wild camping when he has the time. He loves being outside, especially with his dog, and exploring various rural locations.
