F. Ball Appoints New Commercial Technical Advisor for the Netherlands

F. Ball has appointed Peter Westerhof as commercial technical advisor for the Netherlands.

In his new role, Peter will provide expert technical advice, training and on-site assistance to flooring contractors, wholesalers and retailers in the Netherlands to enable them to get the most out of F. Ball products. This will include producing case-specific reports to advise on the best course of action for particular flooring installations.

Peter has been involved in flooring since he was young, when he started his career as an apprentice flooring installer. He later started his own flooring installation business, as well as opening his Groningen store in 2018.

Commenting on his appointment, he said: “Although I loved working for myself, I missed being on the road and meeting new people all the time. I’m looking forward to getting back to this and using my knowledge and experience to help the next generations of flooring contractors to achieve optimum results.”

F. Ball export business manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Jonathan Goold, added: ‘’Peter has dedicated his career to the flooring sector. His valuable experiences ‘on the floor’ carrying out installations, combined with his retail experience, afford Peter the knowledge to be aligned to the needs of the client base and make him ideal for the role of Commercieel Technisch Adviseur.”

Peter has been married for 18 years and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys time with his family, mountain biking and swimming, as well as coaching a youth football team.
