F. Ball at Cruise Ship Interiors Expo America
F. Ball will exhibit its marine-certified range of adhesives and subfloor preparation products at the Cruise Ships Interiors Expo America, in Miami, which takes place on 6 – 7th June 2024.
Marine Equipment Directive (MED) certified and tested in accordance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards, the company’s products for marine applications are used to install floorcoverings in some of the most prestigious cruise ships in the world.
These include the latest addition to its range of high-performance, water-mix smoothing compounds, Stopgap 1500, which can be applied over old adhesive residues and has recently been approved for use in marine and offshore environments.
Also in F. Ball’s marine range are its Stopgap 700 super flexible, fibre modified smoothing compound, which is recommended for substrates subject to flexing or movement, such as steel decking, and Styccobond F49 Hybrid PS temperature tolerant vinyl adhesive, which is water resistant and able to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations.
The export team will also use the expo to reinforce the company’s leading manufacturing credentials, highlighting the continual innovation and development to help flooring contractors to work to ever higher standards. This is supported by certification of its manufacturing and quality processes to international standards ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
The Cruise Ships Interiors Expo America will take place from 6-7 June at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Florida. More information about the exhibition can be found here.
