New yellow bucket visual designs

F. Ball has refreshed the visual designs of its iconic yellow buckets used for the company’s Styccobond adhesives to aid selection and help flooring contractors assess value when comparing products.

The new designs have been introduced to simplify and modernise the look of the plastic buckets, in keeping with new smoothing compound sacks introduced last year, while the product formulations remain the same.

Product information on the front of the buckets includes the adhesive name, key features and volume, as well as the instantly recognisable F. Ball brand. In addition, the buckets now detail coverage rates to help flooring contractors work out how much of an adhesive they need for a particular project and compare value with alternative products, especially where competitor products are sold by weight rather than volume.

The buckets, when empty, can also continue to be disposed of for recycling at participating locations, for free, as part of the F. Ball Recycling Scheme.

Commenting on the redesigned packaging, F. Ball sales director Karl Brannigan said: “The idea behind the refresh was to modernise the appearance, in-line with new smoothing compound packaging introduced last year, and help flooring professionals choose the optimum adhesive for a particular project, while retaining the well-established F. Ball branding that is familiar to flooring contractors and retailers throughout the country. The addition of coverage rates will also make it easier to identify which adhesives offer better value and save costs without compromising on installation quality.”
