STOPGAP 1100 is a self-levelling, calcium sulphate smoothing compound which provides a smooth and level surface. It is suitable for application over sound calcium sulphate screeds, such as anhydrite, prior to the installation of new floorcoverings. STOPGAP 1100 is designed for efficiency, offering excellent self-levelling properties and dimensional stability which delivers long-lasting performance and durable results.
Supplied as a pre-blended, dry powder, this smoothing compound requires only water for mixing, and applies at thicknesses between 2 – 10mm. Its low odour, low pH and protein-free formulation make it safe to use in biologically sensitive environments, such as hospitals. It is is also compatible with a wide range of other subfloor types including STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes, concrete, and sand/cement screeds.
You can pump STOPGAP 1100 up to 1500m² per day, depending upon manpower, thickness and equipment used. This makes it an ideal compound for large-scale commercial or healthcare flooring projects. With a quick walk on time from 2 hours and a readiness to receive floorcoverings from 24 hours, STOPGAP 1100 ensures a quick and efficient installation of floorcoverings with little downtime.

STOPGAP 1100 is a calcium sulphate smoothing compound and is particularly compatible for levelling and smoothing similarly contructed screeds but may also be used over a wide range of other subfloor types including STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes, sand/ cement screeds, concrete, sound asphalt, granolithic, terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane resins, ceramic and quarry tiles.

How to mix and apply Stopgap 1100 - Calcium Sulphate Smoothing Compound
Stopgap 1100 is powder mixed with water designed specifically for use over calcium sulphate based screeds, such as anhydrite. Stopgap 1100 calcium sulphate smoothing compound provides a smooth and level surface prior to the installation of new floorcoverings. It can be hand or pump applied, and has excellent self-smoothing properties.
