STOPGAP 1200 Liquid is the efficient gauging liquid for STOPGAP 1200 high performance smoothing compound. The two are combined to make a low odour, fast setting, fast drying, smoothing compound. The two-component smoothing compound is suitable direct to adhesive residues, as well as for preparing sound internal subfloors prior to the installation of new floorcoverings.
When using the fast-setting, moisture tolerant STOPGAP 1200 smoothing compound, there’s no need to prime. This compound allows you to lay floorcoverings from 4 hours and has a walk-on-hard time from 60 minutes.
