STOPGAP 800 is a self-smoothing wearing surface ideal for commercial and industrial grade floors. Designed to upgrade and renovate both new and existing internal floors, STOPGAP 800 performs best in light to heavy-duty applications where the installation of floorcoverings is not required. It is suitable for use in areas such as storerooms, post rooms, workshops, corridors, and warehouses.
Our durable wearing surface is grey in colour and maintains excellent dimensional stability, ensuring long-lasting performance. Supplied as a pre-blended powder, this compound is designed for easy application from 5-15mm. Users can also apply it with a pump for efficient results. Its protein free formulation allows safe use in biologically sensitive areas, such as hospitals.
In areas where water or other fluids may come into direct contact with the cured material, seal the surface with STOPGAP SEAL from 24 hours. Sealing the surface helps to protect the floor and simplifies maintenance by reducing the adhesive of dirt and other debris.
This self-smoothing wearing surface has a walk on time from 90 minutes and is ready to receive foot traffic from 3 hours. It has excellent self-levelling properties, ensuring a smooth, even finish.
