Stopgap Fill and Prime
Two Component, Flexible Cement Based Primer
STOPGAP FILL AND PRIME is a two-component, fast drying, flexible cement based primer that is designed to fill and prime joints in raised access panels quickly and easily. Its formulation gives it a thixotropic consistency, which enables it to fill joints up to 4mm wide in raised access panels. When applied up to a thickness of 1mm, it sets rapidly and is ready to receive foot traffic from 60 minutes. This quick turnaround time allows floor fitters to complete projects to a high standard with minimal downtime.
Once cured, the excellent flexible nature of STOPGAP FILL AND PRIME will accommodate movement within the substrate. This flexibility ensures a durable and long-lasting surface, even in more challenging environments.
Floor fitters can use our flexible cement based primer on substrates with well bonded waterproof adhesive residues prior to the direct application of the recommended STOPGAP smoothing compound. It has a strong and reliable performance which makes it an ideal primer for creating a stable base layer.

STOPGAP FILL AND PRIME AREAS OF USE
Suitable for use over raised access panels and substrates with well-bonded, waterproof residues of adhesives prior to the direct application of STOPGAP 1200 or STOPGAP 1500. It can also be applied to flooring grade wooden substrates such as plywood, orientated strand board (OSB 3), particle board (chipboard) conforming to BSEN 312 Annex A P4-P7 and medium density fibreboard, prior to the application of STOPGAP 700.
STOPGAP FILL AND PRIME may also be used to smooth out uneven tongue and groove floorboards prior to over boarding with plywood. STOPGAP FILL AND PRIME offers exceptional adhesion to a wide range of other subfloor types including STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes, sand/cement screed, concrete, sound asphalt, granolithic, terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane resins, ceramic and quarry tiles.
