Pressure Sensitive Vinyl Flooring Adhesive
STYCCOBOND F46 is a solvent-free, pressure sensitive vinyl flooring adhesive that dries to a permanent tacky film. You can use this adhesive to reduce the incidence of trowel serrations shadowing through thin vinyl flooring. It provides a strong initial tack and a high bond strength ensuring a high-quality vinyl flooring installation. It has an excellent plasticiser resistance which enhances performance with a range of vinyl floorcoverings.
Our pressure sensitive vinyl flooring adhesive offers an infinite open time and a 40 minute drying time, offering great flexibility to floor fitters during installation. It has true pressure sensitive properties making it ideal for design floorcoverings, including luxury vinyl tiles (LVTs). It also resists bio-degradation and is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating systems, adding to its versatility and long-lasting use.
STYCCOBOND F46 maintains its effectiveness with a shelf life of 12 months in unopened containers stored in good conditions. This makes it a reliable choice for both immediate and future projects.
It is tested to the standards of the International Marine Organisation and approved for use in marine floor installations.

STYCCOBOND F46 AREAS OF USE
STYCCOBOND F46 flooring adhesive can be used for securing a wide range of PVC sheet and tile floorcoverings. See the F. Ball Recommended Adhesives Guide for details of specific floorcoverings. It can be applied to STOPGAP smoothing compounds, structurally sound, smooth, dry subfloors of concrete and sand/cement screed, plywood, flooring grade chipboard and hardboard. Sound flooring grade asphalt must be skimmed with a minimum of 3mm of the appropriate STOPGAP smoothing compound.
STYCCOBOND F46 can also be applied directly to epoxy resin STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes and other non-absorbent subfloors where the surface finish is smooth enough to permit the installation of resilient floorcoverings.
