Styccobond F81
Epoxy Flooring Adhesive
STYCCOBOND F81 is a solvent free, two-part epoxy flooring adhesive designed for use in areas that may be subject to surface water. When the adhesive has fully cured it is resistant to water, oil and grease. Although it is suitable for outdoor use, it is not intended to be used as, or as a substitute for, a waterproof surface membrane. This adhesive is also suitable for use with normal underfloor heating systems. This makes it suitable for use in new builds or renovation projects.
Designed for durability, our epoxy flooring adhesive is suitable for use in heavy-duty applications. It has a long open time of up to 60 minutes allowing floor fitters to complete the installation efficiently without the need to rush. You can apply it using a trowel to secure a range of floorcoverings including vinyl and rubber floorings, PVC-backed carpet and fibre-bonded carpets. STYCCOBOND F81 maintains its effectiveness with a shelf life of 12 months in unopened containers stored in good conditions. This makes it a reliable choice for both current and future projects. It also meets the standards of the International Marine Organisation and is approved for use in marine floor installations.

STYCCOBOND F81 flooring adhesive can be used for securing a wide range of floorcoverings including some vinyl and rubber floorings, PVC backed synthetic grass carpet and fibrebonded carpets. See the F. Ball Recommended Adhesives Guide for details of specific floorcoverings.
STYCCOBOND F81 can be applied to STOPGAP smoothing compounds, sound, smooth subfloors of concrete, granolithic, sand/cement screeds, plywood and bright steel. Sound flooring grade asphalt must be skimmed with a minimum of 3mm of the appropriate STOPGAP smoothing compound. For details on other subfloors, contact our Technical Service Department.
