STOPGAP GREEN BAG is a fast setting, general purpose smoothing compound suitable for use in light to heavy-duty applications for preparing sound subfloors prior to the installation of new floorcoverings. It has a low odour and is suitable for use in clinical and biologically sensitive areas such as hospitals, laboratories, and clean rooms.<\/p>\n
STOPGAP GREEN BAG maintains excellent dimensional stability which enhances durability and long-term performance. It comes as a pre-blended dry powder and liquid designed for application between 3 \u2013 20mm.<\/p>\n
Our general purpose smoothing compound has a fast setting formula and excellent self-smoothing properties, guaranteed to give excellent results. It has a quick walk-on-hard time from 90 minutes at 20\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
When using STOPGAP GREEN BAG, liquid selection is key. If you’re working over absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces, you can use the STOPGAP 114 Liquid<\/a> without the need to prime. When applied at a 3mm thickness, floorcoverings can be laid from 12 hours (temperature dependent).<\/p>\n Alternatively, you can apply STOPGAP GREEN BAG with our STOPGAP 128 Liquid<\/a> over absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces when primed with STOPGAP P131<\/a> or P121<\/a>. This allows floorcoverings to be laid from 24 hours at a 3mm thickness (temperature dependent).<\/p>\n
