STOPGAP 850 is a non-structural exterior resurfacing compound designed for use in light to medium duty applications. It smooths and levels rough or mechanically damaged concrete, sand and cement screeds, deliverable a durable, high-quality finish. You can also leave STOPGAP 850 as a stand-alone exterior wearing surface.<\/p>\n
Our exterior resurfacing compound is resistant to water and frost once fully cured. This makes it ideally suited for smoothing external areas such as balconies, patios and garages. It is applies in thicknesses between 5-15mm.<\/p>\n
To achieve a more natural surface finish and to reduce the potential for slipping, apply a scratch coat to the surface and brush finish it to a textured profile. You can also pump apply STOPGAP 850 up to 900m\u00b2 per day, dependent upon manpower, thickness and equipment.<\/p>\n
It has a walk on time from just 2 hours and can be sealed from 24 hours, ensuring jobs can be carried out quickly and efficiently with little downtime. STOPGAP 850 is fully compatible for use underneath our STOPGAP Waterproof Surface Membranes<\/a> and STOPGAP Isolator Membrane<\/a>, providing a seamless system for flooring installations.<\/p>\n
