Styccobond F61
Heavy Duty Contact Flooring Adhesive
STYCCOBOND F61 is a heavy duty contact flooring adhesive which is a solution of synthetic rubber and resin in flammable solvents. It is pale in colour and has a viscous liquid consistency that should be applied by fibre spreader or brush. This combines a convenient open time of 20 minutes and a full drying time of 24 hours. This provides floor fitters with a reliable solution for efficient flooring installation.
It is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating systems making it effective for use in new builds and renovation projects. This adhesive will withstand normal wet cleaning techniques, ensuring durability and long-lasting performance. The formation of an instant bond makes it particularly suitable for use on stairs and steps where immediate adhesion is essential to prevent movement during installation.
You can use this heavy duty contact flooring adhesive to secure PVC and rubber edgings, covings and nosings, floor and wallcoverings with backings of PVC, rubber cork and most textiles. For details of specific floorcoverings, please refer to the F. Ball Recommended Adhesives Guide.
STYCCOBOND F61 maintains its effectiveness with a shelf life of 12 months in unopened containers stored in good conditions. This makes it a reliable choice of adhesive for both current and future flooring projects.
