BASA Awards Success

F. Ball has won three awards at the annual British Adhesives and Sealants Association (BASA) Awards, including ‘Manufacturer of the Year’.

Run by the trade association for the British adhesives industry, the BASA Awards recognise excellence in the adhesives and sealants sector across categories including products, processes and CSR.

The Manufacturer of the Year award recognises the BASA member that has demonstrated a sustained contribution to the UK economy, as well as a commitment to sustainable growth.

F. Ball invests heavily in research and development to enhance its adhesives range and help flooring professionals to meet increasing customer expectations, with products that save time and offer enhanced performance characteristics.

The company also won the Process Safety Award for its work to ensure the health and safety of everyone who interacts with the company, and innovation was also recognised with success in the Product Packaging Award. This follows the introduction of recyclable versions of its iconic yellow buckets for its adhesives range, which are themselves are made from a portion of recycled plastic.

There were also shortlistings for the adhesives manufacturer in the Community Engagement, Environment and Sustainability and Excellence in Supply and Services categories, while apprentices Phoebe Cawley-Davies and Sinead Heath were both nominated for the Young Achiever Award.
