F. Ball Celebrates 140 Years at The Flooring Show South
F. Ball and Co. Ltd. exhibited at the inaugural Flooring Show South exhibition as a launch partner, showcasing the latest advancements in subfloor preparation products and adhesives for floorcoverings.
These include the latest addition to F. Ball’s range of smoothing compounds, Stopgap 1400. The high-flow, fast-setting, two-component smoothing compound offers superior self-smoothing properties and is walk-on hard from just 90 minutes after application and ready to receive floorcoverings from 12 hours.
It also celebrated the 140th anniversary of the company, which was founded in 1886 and has remained an independent, family-run business ever since.
Visitors to the F. Ball stand had the opportunity to win a range of prizes, including a weekend break away, by playing a on stand competition and watch live demonstrations featuring Styccobond adhesives and Stopgap subfloor preparation products delivered by the company’s Head of Training.
Contractors and retailers also had the opportunity to sign up to the Ball Rewards loyalty programme, which entitles them to claim cashback each time they purchase F. Ball products, as well as a range of exclusive benefits, such as the opportunity to enter regular competitions and earn extra cashback on promotional products.
Commenting on the company’s exhibition, F. Ball sales director Karl Brannigan said: “It enabled us to strengthen relationships with a wider audience of industry decision-makers, including retailers, contractors and specifiers, and attendance figures were very strong, with over 1,400 visitors to the show on the first day alone, so we’re pleased to be launch partners for the event.
