What is it?
A solvent-free acrylic polymer emulsion adhesive for installing sheet vinyl floorcoverings, designed especially for use over Stopgap Isolator Membrane.
The adhesive dries to a permanently tacky film to provide good initial grab, has excellent resistance to plasticiser migration and is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating installations.
Where is it used?
To adhere floorcoverings to Stopgap Isolator Membrane. Stopgap Isolator Membrane is often deployed where a moisture management solution is required where subfloors can’t be prepared by liquid-based treatments because of surface contamination or in situations where floors need to be returned to their original state, in heritage settings for example.
Something you might not know about the product:
The adhesive is formulated to reduce the instance of trowel serrations showing through thin vinyl floorcoverings.
