F. Ball and Co. Ltd. will be ‘exhibiting’ at the virtual trade exhibition CFJ Live, organised by leading trade journal Contract Flooring Journal (CFJ). The event takes place between 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday 1 July 2021.
The event, which will be held on virtual venue platform Hopin, will see companies from across the flooring industry broadcast live from their showrooms, offices, demo areas and training centres with presentations on new products/current ranges, demonstrations and Q&A opportunities on the technical aspects of their products.
F. Ball will be presenting a mix of product demonstrations, alongside informative Q&A sessions on product performance and the crucial aspects of subfloor preparation and adhesive selection. The sessions will be hosted from F. Ball’s newly restyled, upgraded and rebranded ‘Centre of Excellence’ training facility.
Product demos will show how to select and apply waterproof surface membranes to protect against subfloor moisture – the main cause of floor failure, followed by application demonstrations featuring two of the most popular, time-saving levelling compounds: Stopgap 1200 Pro and Stopgap Fast-Track 30.
Adhesive application demonstrations will include pressure-sensitive vinyl adhesives from F. Ball’s System LVT range and Styccobond F73 Plus – a one-part moisture curing heavy duty adhesive for internal and external applications.
The demonstrations will be interspersed with Q&A sessions covering topics such as adhesive selection, including why so many different adhesives are needed and a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the creation of F. Ball’s legendary Recommended Adhesives Guide (RAG®), why priming a floor is so important, and the instruments available to determine if a subfloor has excess moisture present.
Both the product demonstrations and Q&A sessions will be presented by senior members of the Technical Service team, providing informed technical commentary alongside product installations and unrivalled product knowledge and real-world expertise in answering Q&A questions.
Visitors to the F. Ball booth are invited to ask questions throughout the day, either during the dedicated Q&A sessions or while the product demonstrations are in progress.
