What is it?
It is a new, improved version of Styccobond F48 High Temperature Grade Vinyl Adhesive which has been rebranded as Styccobond F48 PLUS.
Where is it used?
Styccobond F48 PLUS has a high resistance to both heat and PVC plasticisers, enabling it to prevent any movement caused by temperature fluctuations that cause flooring to expand and contract, leading to tenting and gapping.
Styccobond F48 PLUS is therefore suitable for use in conservatories and areas where floor to ceiling windows or normal under-floor heating systems are installed.
What’s different about it?
This new formulation, solvent-free, high temperature grade vinyl adhesive is now fibre-reinforced, providing increased initial grab to help to prevent lateral movement of the floorcovering when it is placed into the adhesive, making it easier to work with.
Something you might not know about the product:
The adhesive is also now faster drying, allowing floorcoverings to be installed as soon as five minutes after the adhesive has been applied.
