Last month, we brought you news about the winners of the Scottish and Northern heats of F. Ball’s annual golf championship. This month, the Southern golf competition took place at Coulsdon Court Golf Club in Surrey. The top three players from each regional golf day go forward to play in the national final in September.
Flooring contractors from across the South of England met to play the 18-hole course, which enjoys panoramic views of central London.
At the end of the day, Harry O’Sullivan of O’Sullivan Commercial Flooring Ltd. was top of the leader board, followed by Gary Collins of K C Carpet & Flooring in second place and Michael Menlove of Versatile Flooring in third place.
These three will get the chance to compete in the national final, which will be held at a venue in Stratford-upon-Avon in September, where they will be joined by the top competitors from the all of the previous heats.
