CFJ/CFA Flooring Industry Awards 2021
Run as a joint venture between Contract Flooring Association (CFA) and its official magazine, Contract Flooring Journal (CFJ), the Flooring Industry Awards celebrate excellence in flooring, recognising the industry’s best products and installation successes.
Readers can vote for F. Ball in a number of categories, as well as nominate an F. Ball colleague for the ‘Outstanding contribution award’; if a Technical Representative has provided exceptional service and advice for a project, for example.
Categories include:
- Manufacturer of the year
- Adhesive manufacturer of the year
- Smoothing underlayment manufacturer of the year
- Tools manufacturer of the year
- Outstanding contribution of the year
This year’s award ceremony will be held in September at Coombe Abbey, Warwickshire, where F. Ball aspires to win again, having picked up the coveted Adhesives Manufacturer of the Year at the 2020 awards, thanks to CFJ readers and Ball Rewards members.

Tomorrow’s Contract Floors Awards 2021
Launched last year, F. Ball’s Styccobond F73 PLUS one-part adhesive for internal and external heavy-duty applications has been shortlisted as one of flooring’s top 50 products at the TCF Awards 2021. In their 10th year, the awards celebrate the most innovative products and services the industry has to offer.
A solvent-free, moisture-curing alternative to polyurethane and epoxy adhesives, Styccobond F73 PLUS has been developed to provide the high bond strength required to hold a wide range of textile and resilient floorcoverings, including rubber, vinyl, linoleum and synthetic grass, firmly in place in areas that will be subject to heavy loads and high foot traffic, as well as surface water, such as entranceways. It offers high initial grab and, once cured, it is resistant to water, oil and grease. It is also easier to apply and faster curing than traditional alternatives, requiring as little as 90 minutes to secure floorcoverings.
