David Hibbert, Sales Director of F. Ball and Co. Ltd., has been appointed President of the Contract Flooring Association (CFA). He succeeds outgoing President, Tony Mathe of Hillside Contracts Ltd. Garry Bateman of Forbo Flooring UK Ltd. takes over the role of Vice-President, which David previously held. The appointments were announced at the CFA AGM held on 24 May.
This is the second time David Hibbert has been elected as President, which carries a two-year term of office. He previously held the position from 2000 – 2002.
Commenting on his appointment, David said: “I’m delighted to have been re-appointed as President of the CFA and have the opportunity to contribute further to the valuable work that the CFA does for its members. Maintaining and raising the standards and professionalism of the industry are important objectives in an increasingly competitive world, as is the ability to give our members a voice in influencing wider industry and legislative agendas.”
