F. Ball revamps online presence

New website offers more content, intuitive navigation and responsive design for mobile devices.

F. Ball has launched a totally new look website, offering a fresh, contemporary style. The site is still packed full of useful information and advice, but is simpler and more intuitive to use than the previous website.

Along with the usual product and technical information and support, the online interactive RAG, and useful product demonstration videos, new additions include a news and events section, contractor cases studies and the option to access information in a choice of languages, in response to the growing export demand for F. Ball products.

The new website has been optimised for ease of navigation and for use on mobile devices. It features a live Twitter feed from F. Ball’s @FBallUK account and has hot links to both the company’s Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Explaining why the new website has been introduced, Richard Harris, F. Ball’s Marketing Manager, says: “The website has long-been an important reference tool for specifiers, contractors and distributors alike. Making information easily accessible at the click of a button, 24 hours a day is crucial for maintaining a high level of customer service that echoes the quality of our products.

“We continue to see increasing traffic to the website, as well as a growing number of followers on our Twitter and Facebook accounts. Our online presence is crucial to our philosophy of providing first class service and provides an essential channel for engaging with customers, many of whom now communicate and access information almost exclusively digitally.”
