F. Ball at Cruise Ship Interiors Expos

F. Ball will be exhibiting its marine-certified range of floor preparation products and adhesives at Cruise Ship Interiors Expos, later this year.

Cruise Ships Interiors Expo America will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, from 28-29 October 2021, and CSI Expo Europe will be hosted at London’s ExCeL from 1-2 December 2021.

The company will showcase products from its range of Maritime Equipment Directive (MED) certified flooring adhesives and levelling compounds, including adhesives for carpet, vinyl and rubber floorcoverings, and high performance levelling compounds to create a super smooth, sound subfloor onto which a floorcovering can be installed.

Amongst the key products for marine applications are Stopgap 700 Superflex levelling compound, which is recommended for substrates subject to movement as a result of foot traffic and temperature changes, such as steel decking, and Styccobond F49 Hybrid PS temperature tolerant vinyl adhesive, which is able to withstand extreme changes in temperature and is resistant to water.

F. Ball marine products have been used to install flooring in some of the world’s most prestigious cruise ships, as well as polar exploration vessels, Mediterranean super yachts, New Orleans paddle steamers showboats, and offshore oil rigs.

The export team will also use the expo to reinforce the company’s leading manufacturing credentials, highlighting the continual innovation and development to help flooring contractors to work with increasing ease and efficiency. This is supported by certification of its manufacturing and quality processes to international standards ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
