Our export team recently exhibited for the first time at the Maritime Industry exhibition in the Netherlands. With approximately 14,000 visitors the exhibition was well attended and we were delighted to receive a very positive reaction to our products.
The F. Ball stand featured a range of adhesives and levelling compounds which have been approved for marine use, including adhesives for the installation of a wide variety of floorcoverings such as carpet, carpet tiles, underlay, vinyl, lino, rubber and artificial grass. These adhesives all carry the MED (Marine Equipment Directive) ‘Wheel Mark’ logo.
The newly launched Styccobond F49 Hybrid PS temperature tolerant vinyl adhesive is part of our extensive range of maritime products. This revolutionary pressure sensitive adhesive is resistant to water and extreme temperature fluctuations between -20°C and +60°C. Also on show were the marine approved smoothing underlayments, suitable for preparing substrates and eliminating surface irregularities. F. Ball’s fast drying smoothing underlayment Stopgap 1200 PRO for example can be applied directly onto steel.
