What is it?
Styccobond F48 PLUS is a fibre-reinforced, solvent-free vinyl adhesive that has a high resistance to heat and PVC plasticisers.
Where it’s needed
The adhesive is ideal for use in conservatories and other heavily glazed areas for the installation of plasticised PVC floor coverings in both sheet and tile form.
What’s special about it?
Styccobond F48 PLUS is a wet lay adhesive, but unlike conventional high temperature vinyl adhesives, it contains fibre reinforcement, which minimises lateral movement of the floorcovering during installation – more akin to a pressure sensitive adhesive.
As such, the vinyl floorcovering (especially tiles or planks) is less susceptible to movement during installation, making the process quicker and easier.
The adhesive dries to a rigid film, creating a strong bond that restricts movement and holds the floorcovering in place when exposed to very high temperatures.
