Product Focus: Styccobond F49 Hybrid PS

In the latest in our series of product spotlights, we take a look at new Styccobond F49 Hybrid PS adhesive.

What is it?
Styccobond F49 Hybrid PS is a temperature tolerant, pressure sensitive, water-based vinyl adhesive.

Where is it used?
The adhesive has been specifically developed for use in areas subject to direct sunlight or subject to extreme temperature fluctuations, such as conservatories or heavily glazed areas. It can withstand variations in temperature from as low as -20°C and up to +60°C.

What’s different about it?
Styccobond F49 is the only vinyl adhesive to offer the twin benefits of temperature tolerance and pressure sensitive adhesive characteristics. Its ultra-high bond strength enables it to hold vinyl tiles and sheets in place across a wide range of temperatures, from as low as -20°C and as high as +60°C. Its pressure sensitive nature means that it offers an extremely long open time, and once the floorcovering is installed it can be trafficked immediately.

Something you might not know about the product:
The adhesive provides an extremely strong water resistant bond, allowing it to be used in areas subject to water and high humidity, including wet rooms.
