Product Focus: Styccobond F58 Rubber Floorcovering Adhesive

In the first product spotlight of the year, we take a look at Styccobond F58 rubber floorcovering adhesive.

What is it?

Styccobond F58 is an acrylic emulsion adhesive that can be used for securing a wide range of rubber sheet and tile floorcoverings.

Where is it used?

Wherever rubber floorcoverings are required, such as gymnasiums, sports facilities, retail and leisure venues. Styccobond F58 can be used over normal underfloor heating systems. It can be applied to Stopgap smoothing underlayments, structurally sound, smooth, dry subfloors of concrete and sand/cement screed, plywood, flooring grade chipboard and hardboard.

What’s different about it?

It has been designed to deliver the strong initial tack and high bond strength required to hold specialist rubber floorcoverings in place. It is protected against bio-degradation and offers a high film strength to provide good dimensional stability and prevent the rubber floorcovering moving in use.

Something you might not know about the product:

Styccobond F58 has been tested to the standards of the International Maritime Organisation and is approved for use in marine floor installations.
